12ft 35mm Snooker Table Slate – 5-Piece Set
The full-size bed in the lighter 35 mm section — 3680 × 1930 mm in five machined pieces, produced to your drawing at our Jiujiang works and pallet-packed for export.

Our 12ft 35mm snooker table slate is a five-piece natural slate bed with a nominal assembled size of 3680 × 1930 mm, manufactured at our works in Jiujiang, Jiangxi — inside the Lushan slate belt. Each set is machined to the drawing approved with the order, serving snooker table manufacturers, OEM programmes and replacement projects, and packed on wooden pallets for export.

3680 × 1930 × 35 mm describes the assembled bed, not any single piece — the piece-level dimensions come from the drawing confirmed with your order.

Five Pieces, Machined to Your Drawing

The bed is divided into five pieces because a full-size slab in one piece cannot practically be handled, packed or installed. The five close up into the 3680 × 1930 mm outline with the joint faces ground flat, so the assembled surface runs level across the seams under the cloth.

Machining runs from the drawing: piece sizes, joint positions, pocket cut-outs CNC-machined to the specified radii, bolt holes drilled and counterbored per the hole map, edges ground for the fit. When a bed is matched to an existing table, the piece division follows that table — and what a production drawing must carry before machining starts is set out in the drawing confirmation guide.

Dimensions, thickness and flatness are checked to an inspection plan agreed with the order — measurement method and acceptance criteria settled before production. The material-side test data behind our QC process is published on the quality and test data page.

12ft 35mm vs. 45mm Snooker Table Slate

Will the lighter set fit my table? That is the question buyers ask first. On a 12ft bed the thickness follows the table design, and the two sections ordered most from the works are separate specifications: different bed sizes as well as different thicknesses. The table below puts the 12ft 35mm snooker table slate beside the 45 mm format, and the first row matters most.

On weight: 35 mm sets run at roughly 600–700 kg — an indicative range for the slate itself, before packing — while 45 mm sets have weighed about 830 kg. In both cases the shipping weight follows the confirmed drawing. The 45 mm format is covered in full on the 12ft 45mm snooker table slate page.

A 35 mm set is therefore not a drop-in for a table drawn for 45 mm slate — on a design still open, the drawing settles the section; on a replacement, the bed already on the table does. The snooker slate thickness guide works through the sections across table sizes, and how thickness builds up to set weight — the 600–700 kg figure included — is walked through in the snooker slate weight guide.

Packing the Set for Export

The usual packing is a wooden pallet: the pieces bundled with edge protection, wrapped and strapped, stacked so the load moves by forklift. Where the order suits it — heavy sections, mixed loads, particular handling at destination — A-frame packing or crates are discussed instead, and the final method is confirmed with the order.

In the container, palletised sets travel flat, blocked against sliding and lashed down so the stack arrives as it left the works. How many sets fit is a per-order calculation against the packing method and the shipping plan — quoted with the order, not read off a chart. Shipments are normally routed from the Jiujiang river port, about 40 minutes from the works.

Ordering and Enquiries

A workable quotation needs three things: the quantity, your table drawing or slate layout, and the destination port or delivery address. Pocket, packing and OEM details ride on the same enquiry — the billiard slate quotation guide carries the full checklist.

No drawing yet? Send the table size, thickness, quantity and destination, and we can review the available specifications with you before anything is confirmed.

If the section has not been settled on your design, the 12ft snooker slate page covers the format across all the thicknesses we produce, the 45 mm specification sits on its own page, and the 10ft snooker table slate carries the mid-size five-piece bed. When you are ready, send the details through the contact page.

Buyer Questions on the 35mm Spec

Is this the same bed size as your 12ft 45mm slate?

No. The 35 mm format is produced at a nominal 3680 × 1930 mm; the 45 mm format at a nominal 3658 × 1867 mm. Each is a separate specification, machined to its own confirmed drawing.

Can a 35 mm set replace 45 mm slate on the same table?

Not without checking. Thickness and bed outline both follow the table's frame design. If you are not sure which section your table takes, send the table model or the old slate's details and we will confirm against the drawing.

How much does a 35 mm five-piece set weigh?

Roughly 600–700 kg per set — an indicative range for the slate itself, before packing. The exact figure follows the confirmed piece sizes and the material removed by the pocket cut-outs and drilling, and a shipping weight is settled with the quotation. Per-piece weights follow the layout on the drawing.

Can you supply a replacement bed without the original drawing?

In most cases, yes. The old set is measured or traced — overall size, piece division, pocket positions, hole pattern — and a production drawing is built from those measurements for your approval before machining. An original drawing, if one can be found, simply speeds the process up.
